Yes! From the very beginning, we crafted Smart Schools to be an ideal choice for adult learners with a busy schedule. Our online learning portal allows access to lessons on demand, available 24/7.

Your advisor will help you choose which class to take and when. Unlike other online classes, we don’t require seat time or for you to log in at specific times for live lectures. You can do this online program on your own time and schedule!

If you’re taking an online course with Smart Schools, expect to spend 30-50 study hours per class (half a credit). Earning your diploma is a commitment – we won’t understate that. Good time management and careful planning will be key to balancing your studies with your other responsibilities.

However, there are opportunities to:

• Earn elective credits through work experience at your current job!
• Get your high school diploma while working full time
• Apply your current knowledge for class credit!

Our college and career team assists students in finding exciting post-graduation pathways and connects them to opportunities for a brighter future. We collaborate with external partners to link students to work opportunities that can lead to growth and career advancements, a college degree, or any other educational goals after graduation. Your counselor can even help you navigate federal student aid, admission requirements, application deadlines, and more.

One of the wonderful aspects of Smart Schools is that the choice is entirely yours! If you’re located in Arizona, students can come to our facilities to discover a quiet, child-friendly environment for studying or to engage with fellow students.

We understand that for many of our students, traditional school environments just didn’t work. No matter the reason, our goal is to ensure you receive all the support necessary for your success. We provide comprehensive wraparound services, which include:

We regularly work with public school districts, private schools, and other schools you may have attended to evaluate and determine which of your previously earned credits can be transferred. We will provide request forms and help you obtain copies of your high school transcripts, test scores, and other records or PDF documents to help make sure you don’t have to start from scratch.

Smart Schools offers an opportunity to earn your accredited high school diploma. Unlike a high school equivalency credential like the GED or HiSET, a diploma is accepted by every postsecondary institution, highly regarded by the military, and perceived well by all employers.
