How does this program work?
Grad Solutions is a program made possible through state funding — so it’s tuition-free! Smart Schools partners with Grad Solutions to offer you all the same program benefits:
- 24/7 course access: 100% online courses that are self-paced, allowing you to access them at any time
- Flexible Schedule: No attendance required, no live lectures, and no need to set aside specific hours
- Credits for working your job: Earn elective credits by using your work hours from your current job
- Free Student Support: Access to free tutoring, mentoring, and numerous other resources
- Graduation: Celebrate your achievement by attending a graduation ceremony
Do I have to come to your location?
Nope! Both Smart Schools and Grad Solutions are 100% online.
We do offer several locations throughout Arizona where you can get in-person support, resources, and tutoring if you’d like. Once you graduate, we’ll also invite you to attend an optional graduation ceremony in the Phoenix metro area!
What if I don’t have my transcripts and other documents?
Don’t worry! It’s okay if you don’t have your previous high school transcripts or other documents on hand.
If you’re interested in this program, we encourage you to complete an enrollment application with as much information as you have. Once complete, the Grad Solutions staff will assist you in obtaining transcripts and guide you through the rest of the process.
How much time will this take?
Grad Solutions lets you use high school credits you’ve already earned while completing the remaining ones at your own pace! With an always-open online classroom, you can work on courses at any time and move as quickly as you want.
Prescriptive Exams
Prescriptive exams are an assessment that can be taken on qualifying courses before any coursework is completed. The volume of required course content will be reduced based on the level of competency demonstrated through exam scores.
Test-Outs
Students who show proficiency in designated content areas can test-out by earning a qualifying score on an assessment in a subject area and receive credit for that course. You will record a “P” for pass or earn the grade achieved on your test-out exam.
Tutoring
Tutoring is available for the additional support you need. Highly-qualified teachers are available via phone, email, or virtual classroom. Students are encouraged to contact their teacher with any questions or concerns they are having in a course.
Earn Elective Credits While You Work
Many of our students work or volunteer while taking classes. Our CREW program allows you to receive elective credits for real-life experiences while you are learning work-based skills!
