How much is tuition at Smart Schools?
We believe that getting an education should be affordable. That’s why we work hard to keep our prices as low as possible.
Your tuition rate will depend on a few factors including where you live & how old you are. We’ve worked hard to secure partnerships that provide subsidies and financial support which means that many of our students can qualify to attend for free! If you don’t qualify to attend for free, we still work hard to keep your tuition as low as possible.
Most of our students end up paying between $0-99/month.

We’ve designed our pricing model in such a way that it works to your benefit. Again, we’re here to create student success stories! We believe with Smart Schools, students have more options, more flexibility, and pay less than they would at most other online high school diploma completion programs.

What do we mean by unlimited coursework?
At Smart Schools, you pay by the month, not by the course. Since our program is self-paced and asynchronous, you can progress through your coursework as quickly as you’d like. We will use your prior records and transcripts to create a custom learning plan for you to follow. Each month you pay tuition, there’s no limit to the number of courses you can complete. We encourage our students to stay motivated and keep working! If you work faster, you’ll pay less and graduate sooner!
What is the application fee for?
Your application fee helps cover the initial cost to get you enrolled and started in your coursework. It helps us cover the administrative work to process your application, request and process your records & transcripts, create your custom learning plan, and set up your access credentials for our learning platform.
There are no other fees? Really?
Yes, really! Your application fee and monthly tuition cover everything. Even graduation expenses are covered!
Tuition Policy
Smart Schools is a private, 501(c)(3) educational organization. It does not receive state or federal funding. Students who attend Smart Schools pay tuition for the services they receive, including:
Educational program access
Teacher assistance
Tutoring
Advisor support
Administrative support
After enrollment, students will set up their account with an active credit or debit card to pay their monthly tuition. The payment will be auto-drafted every month until the student graduates or cancels. If payment is declined, it may result in a course lock out which will prevent the student from logging in and making progress. If the situation is not rectified in a reasonable amount of time, the student will be withdrawn.
Please note: your enrollment is not complete until a payment option has been established.
